Ole Henriksen products

Aloha,

The last few years people have been raving about Ole Henriksen's skin care products. He is actually Danish (like Mango), and apparently he became very successful after he launched his skin care products. Even celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Eva Mendes, Charlize Theron and many others love this brand. So I wanted to check out what all this fuzz was about, and decided to try them out.

I tried a couple of the products. One of my very favorite Ole Henriksen products is the the mattifying Vitamin Plus Creme, which is actually one of the best moisturizers I have tried up until now!

It contains aloe vera and oat flour, and it is full of antioxidants and vitamins. I have oily t-zone, and dry skin on the rest of my face (combination skin). I also tend to break out with acne/ pimples, and it's kind of sensitive too. After using this product, my oily t-zone is pretty much gone, and my nose (and the rest of the face) does not shine like before. The creme feels thick when you touch it, but it absorbs quickly into your skin. In fact, my acne have minimized a lot after using this.

Moisturizers against oily skin usually makes your skin dry, but this one does not. In fact, it moisturizes your skin very well, and does not feel heavy or greasy at all. I have been using this for over 1 month, and it is honestly working wonders for my acne-prone, combination skin. I would definitely recommend this to people with the same skin type. The only downside is that the price is a bit expensive. But on the other hand, a little goes a long way.

Ingredient benefits

Aloe vera gel Moisturizes, calms and heals the skin
Hazelnut oil Nourishes with vitamins and antioxidants
Horse chestnut Lightens skin tone and calms sensitive skin
Korean ginseng Increases cellular energy and stimulates microcirculation
Oat flour Mattifies, calms and controls shine
Vitamins A, C, D and E Works in synergy to enhance the effectiveness of each nutrient

The other product I like from Ole Henriksen is the Blemish Attack Purifying Mask. This mask contains salicylic acid (which is supposed to be working against impurities, acne/ problem prone skin). It also contains zinc, and is free from parabens. The cooling clay mask feels good against the skin when you apply it. It really feels like this face mask sucks out the oil and dirt from your pores, and makes your skin clearer, and reduces breakouts. I only put this mask where I have visible pores and breakouts, since there is no need to put it on other places. Whenever I feel like I have clogged pores, or a pimple is about to break out, this saves my day. I usually leave it a bit longer on my face than what it says on the instruction, so it can really work it's magic. Sometimes I put on this mask as a spot treatment (I only put on the acne-breakouts/ spots), and sleep with it. The next morning my skin visible looks better and feels better!
